Psalm 31:2

Good evening!

Psalm 31:2: Turn your ear to me, come quickly to my rescue; be my rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me.

Turn. Come. Be. Save.

All verbs God loves to hear from His children!  He creates us knowing that one day, we will turn away from Him.  No one is born perfect.  No one is always righteous.  Every one has that decision to make.  Are you going to walk this world alone and make your own way?  Or are you going to call out to God to walk this world with Him?  Will you ask Him to turn His ear?  Will you ask Him to come quickly to help you?  Will you ask Him to be your rock? 

Will you ask Him to save you?

Thank you Lord for turning, for coming, for being and for saving!

Colossians 1:13

Good evening!

Colossians 1:13: He has rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.


The moment you invite Jesus into your life, you change instantly. The darkness you have known and are living in immediately disappears. You open your eyes to a new world. You are no longer dwelling in a dark pit. You are forever a resident of God's Kingdom. You have a new hope. You begin to see yourself and your life with a brand new purpose. Those mistakes you have made are no longer weighing you down and keeping you in the dark. For the first time in your life, you feel freedom because you've been released of the burden of sin.

He is the Almighty Rescuer. He can transfer you out of where you are faster than the blink of an eye. You belong with the Son He loves. Your home is waiting for you. Stop stumbling in the darkness and open your eyes to goodness and eternal light. Today is the day for redemption. You can be forgiven. He has already paid the price.

I promise it'll be the ride of your life and you'll wonder why it took you so long to be rescued.

Isaiah 46:4

Good morning!

Isaiah 46:4: Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.


I imagine by the time I am old with a head full of gray hairs, I will be able to look back on my life and see it filled with many mountains and valleys. Great high points and blessings and just as many low points and tragedies. Joy and suffering. Happiness and pain. Through it all, through everything, God is there to sustain us. He supports us and supplies us with all that we need to make it through. He nourishes us and prolongs us. He bears with us so that we can handle the journey through the valleys and celebrates with us when we make it to the top of the mountain!

You are His creation that He loves and takes pride in. If you take the time to make something yourself, with your own hands, it is special to you and you will do anything to make sure it is safe! Well God took the time to create you and bring you into this world. He doesn't do that and then just leave you. He carries you and transfers you from one place to another while continually supporting you. He sustains the weight and burden of all that life has to throw at you while at the same time comforting you and keeping you going. And most importantly, He rescues you from all danger, from yourself, from Hell. No longer are you a prisoner...you are free!

I used to hate the idea of me getting old. But now, it doesn't seem so bad!

Psalm 72:12-14, 18

Good morning!

Psalm 72:12-14, 18: For he will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no one to help. He will take pity on the weak and the needy and save the needy from death. He will rescue them from oppression and violence, for precious is their blood in his sight. Praise be to the LORD God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds.


This Quick Word is dedicated to Brady, a little 2 year old boy who is battling Neuroblastoma and is at this moment far away from his brother and sisters, in a hospital about to undergo very serious surgery to remove a tumor on his spine and in his chest. He was diagnosed early this year and has already went through 2 rounds of chemotherapy. He has been so good through all of this but the fight continues. This disease has no cure but God says HE will deliver those who are afflicted with needs that no one else can help. This disease has caused Brady not to be able to walk yet but God says HE will take pity on him. This disease has made him weaker than any 2 year boy should ever be but God says HE will save him. This disease would like nothing other than to take his life but God says HE will rescue him. All because Brady is precious in His sight. I praise God for his life so far, for Brady has touched so many people all around the world. But I pray these are just the 1st of many marvelous deeds that God has in store for him. I believe there is no one like my God...He is strong and mighty. I believe He has mighty angels in that operating room now, protecting our little Brady and battling against any harm that might try to come his way. He is precious in God's sight and I am filled with hope this morning! Thank you Jesus!
