Matthew 18:19-20

Good morning!

Matthew 18:19-20: "Again I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."

Our Father in heaven has given us the ability to move His hand. He says if you want something to be, then get together as one body and agree. Be in total harmony with one another and believe what you are asking for will be done. Then, as you are praying together, all of a sudden...you will feel Him. He is there with you, in all peace, in all comfort, in all love.
I know some of you have done this and agreed with others and prayed for a specific thing and it did not happen. Sometimes we have to trust that God's hand was not supposed to be moved for a reason and purpose that is bigger and beyond our comprehension. But He will still meet you nonetheless. Keep praying, keep seeking, keep knocking. You may find that the things that you ask for will change and God will show you another way to ask. From experience, receiving blessings in God's way and timing has always been better than anything I ever asked Him for!
Thankfully, our prayers yesterday were in total agreement and moved God's mighty hand! Brady's surgery was not only a success, but turned out better than the doctor's were hoping for. Please read about it at Steps for Brady and thank you for joining with me in prayer. I know his parents appreciate it so much and felt the prayers working! Thank you Jesus, not only for what we asked for but that You were there with us!

Psalm 107:8-9

Good morning!

Psalm 107:8-9: Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.

I've been keeping a prayer journal for quite some time now. Any prayer need that comes my way, I write down the need, write a prayer and ask God specific ways I need Him to help, and then I always thank Him in advance for the miracles that are on their way. Lastly, I write "Answer:" and leave space so that I can record how God answered my prayers and the miracles that took place! Some have the answers filled in already and some do not. There are small requests and humongous requests! But the common denominator is you can see God's goodness in every situation. Even though the answer may not be written by me yet, it is already written in Heaven by Him! His love never fails and He never ceases doing wonderful things for His people. I plan on keeping this journal for many years to come. It will be such a joy to go back and recount on all the miracles and goodness that He has displayed. It still blows my mind to think He does all these wonders for us because He loves us so much! O Lord, I am satisfied and filled with good things this morning! Thank You!

Isaiah 30:19, 21

Good morning!

Isaiah 30:19, 21: How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you. Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in it."

Oh I love this! It reminds me of how God always answers me and it is usually never like I thought He would! But He is always gracious when I cry out for help and He always hears me. Jesus says in the book of John, "Remain in me and I will remain in you." If you are walking with God, then you will always hear that small voice behind you, speaking to you the ways you should walk. The farther you are from God or the more you have put in front of Him, the harder it is to hear that voice. You get busy and forget to pray for awhile. All the little things in life somehow combine into one big thing and it becomes all you can focus on. Then you find yourself in trouble, lost and far away from where you started, on a road you know you shouldn't be, unable to find your way back. But oh how He is gracious when we finally cry out for help! Suddenly, you are back with Him, your ears perk up when you hear that voice again, a smile permeates your lips as the way in front of you slowly brightens. It is the right way and walking in it feels so good! I pray you never need to cry out for help, but if you do, know that God does hear you and always answers you. Listen for that sweet voice today, and start walking!
